This brooch uses Celtic interlacing to form a strong but intricate woven celtic knot in the penannular style.

Finished with a satin look to give this brooch the authentic feel of an ancient pin! Antiqued detailing on the ends of the knots help give the illusion of the classic over/under of Celtic knotwork.

This beautiful piece incorporates Celtic Interlacing, with its "overs and unders" representing the "ups and downs" of life; and the unbroken continuity of the endless ribbon symbolizes the hope of eternal life. As such, they are considered by many as a talisman of long life.
